Senior ESG Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll make a significant contribution to ensure leading CSRD, taxonomy, greenhouse gas protocol, and other relevant ESG standards-based reporting. You’ll support our business on complex and technical ESG accounting and data analysis in close corporation with many stakeholders.

You’ll be part of ESG Reporting & Accounting Excellence where you, together with your colleagues, will have the overall responsibility for all aspects within the consolidated ESG reporting. We’re a team of five highly competent, passionate, and dedicated employees. As a team, we support each other and prepare our deliverables together. Knowledge sharing is key for us. You’ll play an important role in:

  • ensuring we’re on op top of all relevant ESG standards and reporting requirements
  • offering ESG accounting advice to the ESG controllers and the business
  • preparing ESG accounting memos and reporting
  • participating in close dialogue and cooperation with our group ESG auditors
  • participating in the preparation of the group interim reports, annual report, and ESG accounting manual.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a master’s degree in economics, finance or ESG-relevant sciences corresponding to the Danish degree Master of Science at university level
  • have experience with ESG controlling and reporting from a position as a reporting specialist, consultant, or auditor
  • have experience from working with relevant ESG reporting guidelines, standards, and reporting schemes like the CSRD and ESRS, EU taxonomy, greenhouse gas protocol, CDP, GRI, or SASB
  • can translate ESG reporting technical issues into understandable conclusions for management and your colleagues in various departments
  • are a strong analyst with a logical approach to problem solving, and are results-oriented and happy to assume responsibility for your tasks
  • are good at establishing relations and have good cross-organisational communication skills.
