The position
As an Associate Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will have a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Providing executive business support to senior leaders and acting as a strategic sparring partner in ensuring Biological Improvement and Optimizations and execution of these.
  • Driving day-to-day activities representing the area across the organization and following up on actions and preparing presentations on foras.
  • Coordinating or leading key projects across the organization and formulating, defining, and following up on operational excellence and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Designing or modifying business processes and corresponding solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of biological and optimization processes in the pharma industry, as well as experience in biological improvement and optimizations.
  • Experience in the management of project-oriented teams and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to independently understand scientific principles related to manufacturing pharmaceutical substances, and to use a science-based approach to quantify processes.
  • Experience in analyzing large amounts of data to extract correlations and causations for process understanding.
  • Fluency in English.

As a person, you have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders at all levels. You can collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend process improvements and optimizations.

About the department
You will be joining Business Support in API M2. Our department is at the forefront of technology, systems, methods, and processes. Located approximately 1 hour from Copenhagen, our area covers 1,350,000 m2. As part of our team, you will have unique opportunities for growth and development that you won't find anywhere else.
