Product Application Specialist

Are you an experienced Product Application Specialist with deep technical insight into electrolyzer equipment, process plants, pressurized equipment, or technical equipment? Do you have extensive experience engaging with customers, partners, and other key stakeholders? Then you might be the Product Application Specialist we are looking for to join our Commercial team at Green Hydrogen Systems.

Your primary responsibilities
As Product Application Specialist, you will become part of the Project Delivery team and play a key role in ensuring technical requests and queries from customers are handled internally and potentially reflected on the product management agenda. This will be done in close collaboration with the relevant product teams and Sales Specialists to shape the technical specification and ensure that it reflects customer and market requirements.

Your main tasks and deliveries will include:

  • Act as first point of contact for the customer in relation to technical queries.
  • Take actual part in our account management process and act as product application specialist towards technical customer teams
  • Bringing requests for customer specific design requests to the product organisation, ensuring that possible design changes are prioritized as part of the product improvement roadmap.
  • Support the Customer Project Managers with customer and project specific technical matters
  • Assist Sales in peak periods
  • Liaise across Commercial, project delivery, service production and R&D in relation to technical customer queries and upgrades

The ability to complete complex tasks and contributing to satisfied customers is key. As it is part of your success criteria to ensure transparency of customer requirements across the organisation, cross-functional collaboration and clear communication is a prerequisite for succeeding in the role. You are also an important part of driving commercial awareness in GHS.

Who are you?
To apply for the position, we expect you to be an electrical or mechanical engineer, marine engineer or similar. Electrical or mechanical technical experience is a must. You must master English at a suitable level both verbally and in writing, enabling you to communicate with costumers and other international stakeholders in a professional manor. You are familiar working with Microsoft Office and ERP applications. International experience is an advantage.

You show a positive and proactive mindset with a hands-on approach. You are service minded and show a high level of professionalism. You communicate in a transparent manner and find it easy to collaborate with various stakeholders.
