Global Mobility Specialist | InCommodities

InCommodities A/S

Are you a mobility expert with a passion for facilitating colleague relocations? Do you excel in navigating the complexities of immigration, tax, and cultural nuances inherent in global mobility? If so, grab this opportunity to join us as a Global Mobility Specialist and help us shape the future of how we mobilize our people. With the continuous growth of InCommodities, we are now an organization with a global presence and activities across all relevant markets. Consequently, we are confronted with increasing mobility tasks when we relocate our colleagues across borders and open new offices across the globe.

This is why we need you! As our new Global Mobility Specialist, your primary focus will be advising, building, and driving the global mobility framework to support our growing organization. You will ensure that all the different processes are developed, mapped, and handled professionally from start to end when we relocate colleagues across the globe, on different packages, with or without families. This will be done either by your expertise or through third-party providers globally.

The role requires that you thrive in building the mobility puzzle from scratch and can set your mark on how things are done to ensure our colleagues have smooth relocations. Naturally, this will be in close collaboration with the business and your skilled colleagues in Denmark and globally. But you have the experience, and at the same time, you are willing and able to make decisions as you will be the expert on the subject matter.

Your journey as Mobility Specialist
You will join our People & Culture team of eleven skilled, talented, and cool colleagues who cover all aspects of people, culture, branding, and communications. We love what we do and love to have fun while doing it.

We will make sure to create the right framework for you to get into your role, team, and the InCommodities culture, while you are expected to be both proactive and creative in your daily going.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and deploy a global mobility framework to drive mobility effectively across our different locations – both current and future
  • Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues to manage the end-to-end mobility process for employees moving across borders
  • Provide or coordinate advice on immigration, tax, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and a seamless relocation experience
  • Ensure that leaders and colleagues have the necessary information to make the right decision when relocating
  • Find and select global vendors, ensuring high-quality services for our colleagues and that deliveries are made within the applicable agreements and expectations
  • Stay up to date with global mobility trends and regulations to offer the best possible solutions

Qualifications – we imagine that you:

  • Have at least 5+ years of experience in a similar position, either working in-house or from a consultancy
  • Have experience with international immigration, law, and tax implications
  • Have great stakeholder management skills and get energized by building reliable and trusting partnerships internally and externally
  • Can communicate fluently in English – oral and written

Personal skills – we expect that you:

  • Have a problem-solving mindset and can make decisions in an environment where you do not have all the answers
  • Are detail-oriented and quality conscious
  • Have a passion for serving as a trusted advisor and be the go-to person for our leaders and colleagues
  • Have a sound, supportive, and trustworthy communication style

What you can expect from us:

  • A lot of responsibility and support
  • Exceptional colleagues who are honest, ambitious, and the smartest in their field
  • A unique company culture where we live up to our values: Honesty, Transparency, and Rethink, and where you don't have to abide by a dress code or a strict hierarchy
  • A bunch of great events - both in the teams and in the entire organization
  • The opportunity to develop both professionally and personally

About InCommodities
We’re InCommodities: One of the fastest growing trading companies in the world. The energy market is transitioning away from fossil fuels to renewable energy, and we take part in making that happen!

At InCommodities, we support the transition by acting as the middleman between sellers and buyers of power and gas - we transport energy across borders where it’s needed, or we store it and sell it later, providing a vital function in the value chain from production to consumption. InCommodities’ business and decision-making are driven by a deep understanding of the energy markets and based on quantitative analysis and rethinking what we do.

Making InCommodities outstanding requires all types of people with different personalities, backgrounds, and approaches to solving different tasks and projects. But one thing connects us: we're fuelled by new ideas and rethinking the status quo.

Our Culture
We value a strong social culture with a high frequency of employee events outside the office. We want to win and be the best in class – therefore, you'll be surrounded by like-minded people who are bold, honest, ambitious, and the smartest in their field, and who root for one another, as we value a genuine sense of team spirit.

To help each other grow, we use honest and constructive feedback and sparring within and across teams. Personality and cultural fit are important to us because we want you to be happy here. The work culture is relaxed; you don’t have to abide by a dress code or a strict hierarchy, so you won’t be frustrated with too many rules, policies, or bureaucratic processes.

In other words, InCommodities is not your average workplace – it’s awesome.
