Our tribe supports our customers by infusing the power of traditional banking and emerging market technologies to deliver intuitive, embedded, and tailored offerings throughout their lives. This position is strategically located around customer journey solutions in the cards, accounts, and payments domains. The tribe meets our customers evolving needs by providing embedded offerings and services such as the Core Cards Platform, Digital wallets, Accounts & Payment solutions, and many other innovative services that go beyond traditional banking while promoting sustainable practices.

We are a team of dedicated and experienced professionals focused on delivering high-quality software development. We own critical systems on various technology stacks and platforms, such as .Net C#, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AWS, and executing the migration of our services and workloads towards AWS.

The workplace is located in Jægergårdsgade, Aarhus or Bernstorffsgade, Copenhagen. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility. We currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3-4 days in the office.

You will

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to help people grow
• Handle HR activities such as performance management, learning and development, feedback etc.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of .NET technologies and AWS cloud platforms, guiding the development and implementation of solutions
• Act as individual contributor towards the backlog with an ability to manage the time and balance to support the team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications
• Collaborate to improve our development, testing, and deployment practices, identify and address technical debt
• Ensure that all solutions comply with the bank’s risk management and compliance standards

About you

• Ability to work with cross-functional global teams and build effective relationships
• Ability to analyse complex technical issues and devise effective solutions
• Experience in coaching and mentoring developers to enhance their skills and career growth
• 8+ years of experience in developing and maintaining robust and scalable C# .NET Core backend solutions
• Experience with software architecture, Infrastructure as Code with terraform, DevSecOps methodologies
• Experience working with cloud services and managing scalable cloud-based microservices (preferably with AWS)
• Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
