Digital Engineering & Product Lifecyle is a part of Digital Solutions, and accountable for developing and managing digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Life Cycle Management - from management of master data to utilization of extended reality, simulation and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT. PTC Products is responsible for developing and managing digital solutions within PLM-suite of PTC. You will engage in a distributed team following SCRUM framework and a product increment strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Explore Windchill and Creo functionalities to achieve an efficient Overloaded & Configurable BoM
  • Understand as-is state on the different modules and assess requirements and needs
  • Propose new ways of organizing our product, having in mind the upstream and downstream needs/constraints
  • Create Demos to highlight the applicability of different Windchill features to meet our goals
  • Re-think Vestas data model and BoM management
  • Creating required documentation (specifications, test cases, release notes, procedures, guidelines, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or System Engineering or similar with 10+ years of work experience (e.g., Wind Energy, Automotive and Aerospace preferred)
  • Experience with modular product development, product structure & architecture tools
  • Solid experience with BOM management
  • End to end understanding about ECM (Engineering Change Management)
    Understanding of part and material Master Data to support BOM development
  • Solid experience in ERP software(SAP), PLM software, PTC Windchill preferred
  • Solid experience with Parametric Design using CAD software's, Creo Parametric preferred
