On top, do you have in-depth experience in controlling large projects? Then you are our new Senior Project Controller to support our fastgrowing Retrofit business!
You will play an important role in: As our new Senior Project Controller, you will play a vital role in providing the financial transparency required for obtaining our ambitious strategic targets within our PrimeServ Retrofit business. You will be following and contributing to the entire financial lifecycle of big projects, ranging from the initial budgeting, through execution to the handover to the customer and beyond.
Besides this, you will:
- Apply your highly evolved financial and interpersonal skills when establishing strong trustful relations and collaborations with a wide range of stakeholders
- Act as a sparring partner for the business stakeholders when supporting and challenging them in creating a transparent understanding of cost and revenue streams
- Ensure a transparent financial steering of our portfolio of contracts, foreseeing risks and opportunities and thereby enabling mitigating actions, from the preparation of new business cases in the sales and tendering phase to the monitoring and controlling throughout the execution phase
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Accommodate the growth in the area with best practices from recent project organization experience
- Review and optimize the project controlling processes in the Retrofit project organization
- Be in charge of the cost tracking set-up in the systems and in charge of the follow-up over the project’s lifetime
- Financially review new project calculations in collaboration with Sales and Tendering
- Facilitate regular financial reviews of the contracts in the portfolio in collaboration with project managers and be an essential advisor to them
- Prepare and present financial project development updates to area executive management
- Provide financial input for large projects to the business planning, budgeting and forecasting process
- Develop and optimize financial tools and reports for building of new business cases and project monitoring
We imagine that you: We expect that the right candidate has an educational background e.g. Cand.Merc., Cand.Polit., Cand.Oecon or similar and several years of professional experience from a project function or similar.
Besides this, we imagine that you:
- Are self-driven with an initiative-taking approach paired with entrepreneurial and innovative mindset towards problem solving
- Have strong financial and highly evolved analytical skills
- Have a business mindset where prioritization is based on significant drivers and financial impact, yet with the ability to ensure the accuracy in the details
- Have the ability to identify and frame improvements in data and processes
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills in English
