Mid / Senior .NET Developer (Integration Specialist)

Over the past three years, we’ve embarked on an ambitious digital transformation journey, focusing on customer-centricity and optimizing our IT services. As we continue to grow, we’re establishing a new team in Poland, and this role will be instrumental in shaping our expansion efforts.

Position Overview
As a Senior Developer in the Integration team, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, creating, and maintaining integrations between systems. Your expertise will bridge the gap between technical intricacies and practical solutions. Collaboration with multiple application teams will be key, as you contribute to the end-to-end process, ensuring it is efficient and reliable, and also meets Blue Water’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop .NET applications.
• Integrate with existing systems using RESTful APIs and Message Queues.
• Manage version control and automate deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot integration issues.
• Collaborate with application teams in an Agile environment.
• Mentoring junior colleagues, providing technical guidance and sparring

Your background

• Master's degree in an IT related field.
• Strong backend development skills are a must-have.
• Proficient in utilizing the .NET Core framework to build robust and customized applications that fulfil specific integration needs.
• Experienced in working with various integration technologies, including RESTful APIs, FTP, and Message Queues
• Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services: Storage, Function App's, SQL, Key Vault, and Service Bus
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve integration issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation of integrated systems.
• Effective communicator and team player, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and stakeholders, to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Experience working in Agile environments, delivering iterative solutions, and adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
• At least 5 years of experience in the field.

Practical Details
The primary location for this role is the Blue Water Shipping’s office in Gdansk (with occasional travel to Esbjerg, Denmark or Warsaw). We encourage flexibility and hybrid work, but we expect our team members to meet at the office some days every week. .
