Experienced DevOps and Cloud Engineer DevOps · Copenhagen - Denmark, Aarhus - Denmark
Eficode
We are not your average consultancy company
We at Eficode strive to share our knowledge, not only internally, but also by giving it back to the community around us. We invest heavily in our people whether it is conferences, training or others. We don’t want to be a cog in the machine for our clients, we want to be the evangelists, showing them what good looks like.
If you're a visionary in the realm of DevOps, Cloud, Cloud-native, or CI/CD, and you're eager to drive projects both internally and externally, we want you to join our team as an experienced DevOps and Cloud Engineer in either our Copenhagen or Aarhus offices.
Why you?
Key to this role is your ability to grasp the bigger picture of how tools fit together and anticipate emerging trends on the horizon. While we value expertise, we prioritize individuals who can rapidly iterate and experiment with new tools, embodying a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
As a vital force in our knowledge-sharing culture, you'll collaborate with a diverse group of experts across various domains in our internal community while also following trends outside of Eficode and bringing it back to our team to enrich our collective understanding.
Your interest in driving communication through written text, conference presentations, or classroom sessions will play a vital role in our mission to share solutions and celebrate successes with the broader community. Besides being a driver of knowledge sharing, you will own your customer interaction, work and communication as an experienced consultant.
As an experienced consultant, you:
- Have expertise in DevOps, Cloud/Cloud native, or CI/CD: you are experienced in solving problems and coaching others to improve in some of these areas.
- Have a visionary mindset: you can anticipate emerging trends and rapidly explore new tools and technologies.
- Present project leadership experience: drive projects internally and externally, contributing to the success of our clients and our team.
- Nurture a knowledge-sharing mindset: champion a culture of learning and collaboration, extracting insights from customer experiences to benefit the broader community.
- Showcase communication skills: eagerness and ability to communicate ideas in English through various mediums, including written, verbal, and public speaking engagements.
- People and customer-oriented: enjoy working with people and customers and supporting them to improve their work.
Additional skills and experience
It is a plus if you have additional expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Leadership experience: You have either led a team or an area of work before and are interested in developing your leadership skills.
- Containerization and virtualization: you may be experienced in configuring Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or serverless architectures.
- Automation: you may have set up, built, and deployed systems using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or equivalent.
- Version control: you may be skilled in handling source code in Git, using, for instance, GitLab and GitHub with artifacts in Nexus or Artifactory.
- Software development: you may be skilled in one or multiple modern programming languages. TDD, DDD, or other agile coding practices like pair and ensemble programming (earlier known as mob programming) are concepts you might be familiar with.
- System administration: you may be experienced in managing servers based on Linux, Windows, or in the cloud with AWS, Azure, or OpenStack.
Why us?
We offer you the opportunity to be a part of a community passionate about delivering value and finding the right solutions for our customers. With a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and dedicated time each week for knowledge sharing, we foster an environment where individuals can be themselves and invest in their development. We encourage our colleagues to read books such as Getting Naked by Patrick Lencioni and The Unicorn Project by Gene Kim. If you don't own a copy, no problem; you can use the office library, or we will get you an audio version.
Trust, openness, and feedback are at the core of our values, ensuring that ideas are shared and collective and individual achievements are celebrated. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with leading businesses, actively participate in the community, and foster collaboration beyond our offices. Backed by a supportive team, we take pride in how we deliver work while striving for high quality and each other's wellbeing.
Are you ready to join us?
If you're ready to make an impact and innovate in the world of DevOps, we encourage you to apply by submitting your CV and a cover letter describing your achievements and why you'd be a great addition to our team via our recruitment platform.
