To strengthen our digital capabilities, we are searching for an IT Solution Architect – Customer & Consumer Digital Experience (f/m/d)

About the Role
Solution Architect is a Technical Leader that is also responsible to define Reference Architectures, drive for harmonization, simplification and adapt to best practices to have fully integrated solutions in a heterogeneous IT landscape as well as sharing these within the organization.

This role works with business partners, information architects, enterprise architects, business analysts, and external service providers, to ensure new capabilities comply with the overall architecture across 2 or more domains.

As a Solution Architect, you are equally able to communicate with developers or tech leads to give direction and business stakeholders on why technical decisions are made. You can also build business cases to ensure accurate, optimal and valuable architecture recommendations are made. This includes understanding the architecture impacts and consequences of different license models as well as the underlying business value and needs that drive the technology.

You feel ownership (and are responsible) for the solutions you are driving and know how to balance speed and quality in delivery.

You are used to working with both internal and external partners and suppliers from multiple countries and cultures.

What You Will Do

• Take a leading role in projects or other initiatives to ensure all requirements, including functional, integration, security, performance, quality, and operations are covered
• Responsible to ensure that the architecture requirements for the development, execution, and operations are implemented as designed
• Cooperate with other architects to ensure that the solutions and components work together to meet the objectives and work jointly to ensure collaboration between initiatives
• Lead the IT Architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that policies and standards are followed in respective area
• Validate requirements and obtain stakeholder buy-in for architecture designs
• Create business cases, narratives and assess architecture impacts for new / changed solutions and present to a broad stake holder group from Business and IT
• Identify and communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other project areas
• Support development of architecture reference architecture, including standards and in management of exemptions
• Actively seek out new technologies and trends and advocate for change within Essity

Who You Are

• University degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline
• More than five years of experience in IT development and business analysis in digital market facing applications like eCommerce, content management, brand site development, loyalty and mobile app business
• Knowledge in user experience modeling, information design, and concept generation
• Fluent in English, both written and oral
• Knowledge of the SDL Tridion platform beneficial.
• Ability to travel
