Job Description
Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls (RAC), R&D and Engineering is seeking a dynamic Senior Hardware Engineer to join our electronic and software team based in Nordborg and Kolding.

Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and specification of hardware, primarily for embedded systems. You will lead and coordinate R&D activities within specific projects, ensuring all documentation aligns with our project model. Additionally, you'll provide support to our engineering team for current products. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with passionate engineers from diverse backgrounds, occasionally traveling (approximately 5-10 days per year) to engage with customers, partners, and suppliers.

Background & Skills
On a personal level, you possess robust analytical capabilities, effective communication skills, and a positive, open-minded attitude. Your strong team spirit enables you to build relationships and collaborate seamlessly across borders and cultures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or similar field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in electronic/mechatronic product design.
  • Proficiency in designing analogue and digital circuits, including power management, SMPS, and sensor measurement.
  • Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing and PCB layout, with a focus on EMC
  • Familiarity with tools such as OrCAD, LTspice, and Pspice.
  • Knowledge of industrial application requirements, integrated electronics, and stepper motor drivers preferred.
  • Understanding of software for embedded systems.
  • Experience in project coordination and hardware specification.
  • Fluent in English.
