Do you want to work with climate and environment in a large company across many sectors and play an essential role in developing and integrating sustainability efforts in our businesses? Are you motivated by helping stakeholders across the organisation to deliver on Egmont’s Go Greener strategy?

Egmont, a leading media group in the Nordics, is looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join the Corporate Sustainability team. The team is part of Egmont’s Corporate Legal & Sustainability department and based in Copenhagen. Our team is driving the Sustainability agenda across Egmont, in collaboration with colleagues in Egmont’s business areas (film, cinema, TV, books, magazines, e-commerce, etc.).

We are looking for a colleague with in-depth knowledge of climate and environment, a structured and analytical approach, and a proactive and business-minded attitude, to help us drive Egmont’s Go Greener work.

Key tasks

As Sustainability Consultant, you will become a key contributor to Egmont’s Go Greener strategy, focusing on our climate and environmental work. This includes supporting key priorities in our team, e.g. setting Science-Based Targets, further developing and implementing our Go Greener Strategy, and implementing CSRD reporting.

Examples of tasks that will directly support our work with Science-Based Targets and CSRD:
• Help refine our GHG accounting (methodology, reporting processes/templates, systems)
• Help developing decarbonisation roadmaps
• Help organise workshops/trainings/meetings (content development and coordination)
• Conduct competitor benchmarks
• Conduct gap analyses (e.g., CSRD)
• Research potential low-carbon / circular solutions from a sustainability perspective
• Help preparing decision material for Go Greener Steering Committee.

We expect that you have:

Qualifications
• Education in climate & environment/sustainability, with solid knowledge of environmental methods and tools (e.g., LCA, carbon footprint, circular economy, ESG)
• 1-3 years of experience working with climate & environment in a company/consultancy
• Experience working with GHG emission data and other environmental data
• Working knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Protocol and climate reporting software (e.g., CEMAsys) - working experience with SBTi is a plus
• Experience working in projects and dealing with many stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Personal skills
• Structured, analytical, and detailed-oriented
• Proactive and business-minded approach
• Able to communicate/translate sustainability insights into the business context
• Strong team spirit
• Fluent in English – fluency in a Scandinavian language is a plus.
