JOB DESCRIPTION
On behalf of Energinet we are searching for a Domain Architect – SysTech Solutions to join their team of Architects. This is your chance to step into a vital role and help shape the future of their IT landscape.

Energinet is an independent organization under the Climate, Energy, and Supply Ministry, playing a vital role in the transition to green energy. Energinet's new strategy, "Energy on Time," is crucial for achieving a swift green transition of Denmark's energy system by 2030. This strategy necessitates significant changes across Energinet, particularly within the digital unit. These changes require substantial modifications to the underlying infrastructure, with a high priority on innovative and effective solutions.

As a Domain Architect, you will focus on understanding and addressing business needs by developing and maintaining the IT landscape, roadmap, and target architecture for your domain. In this role, you will work closely with Energinet’s Critical Supply Solutions area and SysTech Solutions—a collaboration between business and IT that supports systems for operating and balancing the Danish Electricity, Gas, and Hydrogen networks. You will align the needs of different stakeholders with Enterprise Architecture to create solutions that fit Energinet’s overall strategy and direction.

Your role involves working closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Chief Product Officers to uncover and clarify business requirements. As a Domain Architect, you are responsible for ensuring that the solutions designed and developed by various teams align with the target architecture for the domain and adhere to enterprise architecture guidelines. You will assess the IT architecture's impact on the overall IT landscape, considering factors such as technical debt, potential conflicts, and security. Additionally, you will define reference architectures based on industry and company best practices and communicate them clearly to Solution Architects, Team Architects, and Software Developers. Energinet is seeking a candidate who can navigate technical challenges while effectively communicating with managers and other stakeholders.

Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:

• Bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Develop and maintain the architectural roadmap for SysTech Solutions (Market and balancing, Grid-operations for Power & Gas) in line with business and IT strategies.
• Coordinate and prioritize SysTech related initiatives in collaboration with Product Owners.
• Update and align the reference architecture for the domain with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architects, and other Domain Architects.
• Develop and maintain target architecture for the domain

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate is expected to have a technical education at BA or MA level, but experience from a similar role is more important.

Furthermore, Energinet expects:

• Experience in working with solution architecture.
• A technical background, but also the ability to talk with managers and other company stakeholder.
• Experience with OT and IT systems.
• Experience with aligning IT solutions with business strategies and managing stakeholder needs.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
