We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our highly dedicated and experienced due diligence team to increase our capability in Europe and/or Asia. We have acted as technical adviser on some of the largest and most cutting-edge renewable energy projects in the world. Joining the team would give you the opportunity to have an impact on the global increase in renewable energy and decarbonization. What you’ll be doing:
As Senior Consultant, Due Diligence, you will be a central member of a highly professional and dynamic team with exposure to clients and projects around the world, and your responsibility will be to provide due diligence services and support to our clients, predominantly in EMEA, US and Asia.

Your duties in this aspect may include (however not be limited to) the following during project development: Being part of the technical DD team and providing technical DD expertise to clients.

  • Taking responsibility for project management of on and offshore wind projects, advising our clients and producing succinct, clear and high-quality written and verbal advice.
  • Analysing, reviewing and assessing renewable energy projects, including technical reviews, key project agreements and financial model assumptions
  • Cooperation with team members and technical experts based in other countries as our services and solutions are sourced from everywhere in the organization – and provide our clients with the optimal solution
  • Leading or participating in conference calls with clients, financial and legal advisors
  • Travelling for site visits and client meetings, primarily in Europe with the potential to travel world-wide on assignments.
  • Supporting business development and sales activities as may be required.

About you:

  • Personable and a strong team player.
  • Technically rigorous and detail focused but with a commercial understanding of wind energy developments
  • Self-motivated and happy to be part of a remote team.
  • Capable of managing clients and assignments autonomously
  • 5-10 years of experience working within the renewable industry in onshore and/or offshore wind, and ideally familiar with due diligence and LTA assignments
  • Ability to project management an assignment, sometimes under tight time and budget constraints.
  • Experience of working within and managing a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
  • Excellent written English with the ability to communicate clearly and explain technical issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Cooperation and flexibility always keeping in mind what is best for the client, team and company.
  • Diplomatic skills and honesty are requirements in a diverse and multi-cultural organization with high ethical standards.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in consultancy
  • Degree educated in a relevant technical subject
  • Experience in non-European projects, especially in developing offshore wind markets (e.g. Taiwan, Japan, USA)
  • Knowledge of financial modelling
  • Multi-lingual capability
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and / or Germany and / or Thailand or Taiwan
