Senior Project Manager for Medical Device Development

We are seeking experienced project managers to spearhead the development of our next wave of innovative medical solutions. Join MagVenture, a leading company specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) technology. TMS is increasingly recognized for treating and researching major neurological conditions such as depression and OCD. Since 2010, the FDA has approved numerous new TMS based treatments, primarily in psychiatry, with ongoing research expanding its applications to conditions like Parkinson's, PTSD, dementia and rehabilitation.

MagVenture employs 190 professionals and is experiencing rapid international growth, leading to exciting new projects. We are looking to add two skilled colleagues to our team: a Senior Project Manager and a Project Manager. If you’re ready to join us on this growth journey, we eagerly await your application.

As part of our expanding R&D team, you will engage in Project Management Office (PMO), working with Project and Product Management tasks. This team plays a crucial role in developing technical and innovative products. You will manage various product development projects encompassing hardware, software, and mechanics. Collaboration with other R&D colleagues and stakeholders from QA, RA, Commercial, Production, Technical Support, and more is essential.

Expect a challenging role in an international and innovative environment, interacting with stakeholders across functions and cultures, making a significant impact on people with severe neurological conditions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Engage in the entire Product Design and Development process from early ideation through market implementation.
  • Support the startup phase with Product Management, capturing the Voice of Customer and transforming it into project start.
  • Responsible Project Manager from phase 1 and through all phases in cooperation with the team.
  • Translate user needs into design input requirements and drive these to a released product.
  • Oversee planning, gate deliveries, budget, and risk management.
  • Manage stakeholder communication in an agile setup.
  • Support product launch and market implementation.
  • Facilitate design control activities throughout the Design and Development process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field with experience in active medical device product development.
  • Proven track record of managing projects and delivering strong results.
  • Proficiency in integrated product development.
  • Experience with requirement engineering, design verification, and design reviews.
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards; ISO 13485 is a plus.
  • Experience in facilitating product risk management activities is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Danish.
