We are seeking an Offshore SCADA Commissioning Engineer to join our SCADA project support team within Offshore Engineering. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality SCADA solutions for our offshore projects, focusing on system installation, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
As an Offshore SCADA Commissioning Engineer, you will be working closely with the SCADA Project Team and our customers, including:

  • Support the design and installation of SCADA systems at project sites.
  • Collaborate with the internal project team on development, installation, and testing of project-specific SCADA systems, both remotely and onsite.
  • Participate in the handover process from execution to service.
  • Provide constructive feedback for ongoing product development and improvements to SGRE SCADA solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Creating project-specific documentation for offshore SCADA and communication systems.
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing onsite installation of SCADA hardware.
  • Actively supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Harbour Acceptance Tests (HAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for offshore SCADA systems.
  • Providing ad-hoc support and troubleshooting for turbine commissioning teams, including creating work instructions.
  • Delivering SCADA training for internal and external users.
  • Participating in the offshore SCADA project support hotline.

This role will require up to 75 travel days per year to various execution project sites and customer locations.

Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a relevant technical education, such as an electrician or automation engineer, and experience with SCADA system installation and testing from the wind industry, along with practical experience in:

  • SCADA systems and onsite troubleshooting.
  • Network and communication systems.
  • IT systems and Microsoft-based technologies.
  • Provide technical support to users with varying levels of experience.

  • Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.
