The Role & Department
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Work Student to join our Payroll Ops. EU – team in Denmark. The ideal candidate will assist with various payroll-related tasks and projects, gaining practical experience in payroll processing and accounting operational activities related to this. This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and international work environment.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Danish labor laws and company policies
  • Compliance: Support the Payroll team in ensuring compliance with all payroll regulations and internal controls
  • Employee Support: Provide support to employees with payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Filing: Help maintain payroll documentation, including filing and organizing payroll records
  • Projects: Participate in special payroll projects and initiatives as assigned by the Payroll Associate Director
  • Process optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the implementation of new payroll procedures

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Tax law or a related field
  • Knowledge about AI is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Previous experience in payroll, HR, or a related field is a plus but not required

This position is hybrid and located in our HQ in Copenhagen.
