This position will initially be offered on a 6-9 month temporary (maternity leave cover) basis with the possibility of a permanent appointment for the successful candidate at the end of the period.

Your new role
As our new Bid Coordinator, you will experience the excitement of working with industry-leading experts on groundbreaking Power-to-X, Gas Infrastructure, CO2- and energy storage technologies. Your focus will be to drive processes and to prepare all phases of the proposal process, working together with world class experts in their Project Management, Business Development, and executive leadership across the Ramboll Energy group.

Your main tasks and responsibilities

  • Coordinating the team effort in the response to Expressions of Interest, Pre-Qualifications, Proposals, Tenders, and all associated processes.
  • Coordinating, contributing, and scoping of the proposal work through all phases, from expression of interest, through pre-qualification, and final proposal for larger projects. This includes collection of references and coordination with Bid Managers / Owners, ensuring delivery of quality and timing of our efforts.
  • Maintaining the data integrity of RamLink. (Our reference and CV database)
  • Liaising and cooperating with commercial, financial, and legal colleagues to ensure that our proposals are compliant.
  • Developing and maintaining a best practice approach to the quality of our past project descriptions and team profiles.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of our ‘tender toolkit’ to ensure a continuous improvement approach.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, ideally in an engineering or commercial discipline, with a demonstrable understanding of business development processes in a consultancy environment. A knowledge of engineering projects will be highly regarded.
  • Evidence of a customer-focused approach, with a solution-oriented and structured way of working.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to support a large team effort, often against challenging timeframes.
  • Experience in coordinating the input of different stakeholders in Technical, Commercial, Legal, and Business Development to ensure the timely submission of tenders and proposals.
  • Strong planning skills with the ability to recognise and prioritise key tasks in delivering tenders and proposals in accordance with the submission date.
  • A natural analytical approach and the ability to grasp new and complex tasks with the aim of translating these into goals and actions.
