Customer Implementation Project Manager

Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented professional ready to lead and manage transformative projects ? As an Implementation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading new implementation projects and managing customer-facing initiatives. Your mission will involve close collaboration with Commercial Managers, Customer Service Managers, and various stakeholders globally to ensure seamless integration of new customers into the business. You will be at the forefront of complex internal and customer-facing projects, serving as the key point of contact to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the implementation phase. Your responsibilities will include setting up the project plans and executing them, guiding staff to understand SOPs and processes ensuring accountability, delivering agreed services, producing comprehensive process documentation, and ensuring compliance with business standards. Project Management and Implementation

  • Running Implementation projects in adherence to the Maersk implementation methodology as well as Client requirements
  • Delivery of projects concerning internal and/or external stakeholders, focused on process change or improvement
  • Using your interpersonal skills to manage project stakeholders within the agreed scope and timelines, ensuring appropriate reporting and documentation is submitted within the deadline
  • Writing and agreeing the content of the Standard Operating Procedures as well as supporting creation of Internal Operating Procedures in conjunction with Customer Service, participation in the quarterly/yearly reviews between Client/Ops teams where needed
  • Comprehensive status updates on all project and implementations to all stakeholders as well as senior management when required
  • Revision of project scope between Commercial proposal and Client requirements, interrogating gaps or additions where feasible
  • Ensuring post-implementation handover to Operational teams with full process review and alignment on the execution tasks, timelines and deliverables.
  • Be a monitoring conduit between the Client and Maersk EDI team to ensure the required outcome of the project
  • Provide guidance to the Commercial team in terms of managing integration requirements for the new Client and being responsible for its successful sign-off
  • Comfortable with working with MS office tools such as excel, powerpoint, teams, word, one note.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in project management or PMP certification.
  • Strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills in previous roles.
  • Be able to understand EDI development and customer operation/systems for integration working together with IT teams.
  • Fluent in English and Danish both written and verbal communication.
  • Result Oriented

  • Managing a complex and difficult Stakeholder landscape
  • Preferred - Past experience of at least 3 years in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
