Sales Manager, Netherlands

As a Sales Manager you will be based from our Rijsenhout Showroom, and responsible for developing and growing the Sales activity of Nine United in Holland. This involves working closely and coordinating with the local team members and office – whilst ensuring the development of the 4 collections of Nine United’s portfolio : &Tradition, Frandsen Bespoke, NINE & Verpan, and that services are correctly deployed and represented on the local market. You will also be responsible to define and implement a coherent Sales strategy – in close collaboration with the respective Brands HQs and Nine United France & Benelux Management.
Business Development
- Establish and apply an impactful Sales Strategy, and conduct constructive exchanges, in cooperation with France & Benelux Director, CSO/Head of International Sales at the Brand’s HQs, and other European Country Managers in order to reach yearly Sales budgets
- Preparation and participation of quarterly meetings, and various forecasts
- Introduce and report the defined Brand’s approaches, Sales tools, ongoing projects to the local team – to ensure they are continuously informed
- Management of local key accounts and participatation in premium partnerships meetings, and negotiations
- Stay close to the local market in order to build strong knowledge and expertise of its opportunities and needs
- Initiate local initiatives based on local needs such as local fairs or design week
Local team & Office Responsibility
- Responsible for the Risenjhout Showroom & Office
- Coordinate with the team in their daily efforts to ensure the set commercial strategy is pursued are carried out to a high professional standard and that the objectives are achieved
- Ensure that the employees are good ambassadors for the values of Nine United
- Lead to contribute to a positive and inspiring working environment & culture where each person can collaborate together, express and grow their skills
Training & Travel Frequent international travel will be required to attend International exhibitions, internal meeting or training sessions. Domestic travels to assist the Sales team in key meetings to pursue opportunities and relationships across the Netherlands.

About you
You have ideally 5 years experience in the Design Industry with proven track Sales record . As an experienced person, you are proactive, service-minded, and a team player who enjoys working together with colleagues and clients. You have strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills as well as an enthusiasm to interact with clients, and an interest in design, products, materials and manufacturing processes. You are positive, you thrive with the challenge of introducing new brands to your existing network, focused on finding solutions and identifying possibilities. You possess strong time management skills including an ability to prioritize and work under pressure. You recognize the value of our products and services, and you take commercially minded decisions with a long term benefit to our customers and to our business. You are familiar with the nature of a Sales Manager role, independent, sales-driven and able to balance back office needs and proactive tasks. You enjoy working in an unpretentious environment where flexibility is key and everyone helps each other.
