You’ll be part of Software Engineering Competence Centre where you, together with your colleagues, will support the company by contributing to build a firm data backbone which is a key decisive factor for stakeholders. You’ll play an important role in:
- developing a cloud data warehouse processing financial data related to windfarms
- cooperating with business stakeholders and product owner in order to fulfil ad-hoc needs and continuously define backlog
- building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines
- development of T-SQL code performing data transformation
- ensuring that data is made available in a way that is optimised for security, stability, and performance
- close cooperation with front-end developers who build and maintain PowerBI-based reporting layer
- setting up monitoring and orchestration of data pipelines
To succeed in the role, you:
- have substantial pipeline development, data ingestion and data transformation experience using ETL tools (preferably Azure Data Factory)
- have deep understanding of dimensional modeling of data warehouses
- have worked in a cloud environment (preferably MS Azure)
- are experienced in writing high quality T-SQL code (preferably on Azure Synapse)
- are familiar with code repository software (preferably Git)
- have an experimental mindset and appreciate learning new things
- are curious and engaged with a passion for making a difference through data and are able to communicate in English well
- are interested in the Agile way of working
