Lead UX/UI Designer - Internal Process Flow

Inpay is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our Copenhagen team to design interfaces and flows for efficient operation of mass payment processing.

The ideal candidate will be skilled at understanding complex workflows, translating user needs into intuitive interfaces, and creating cohesive design solutions that improve productivity and user satisfaction while reducing the cognitive load. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders , product managers, and developers to ensure that our tools are efficient, user-friendly, and aligned with business goals.

• Key Responsibilities:

User Research and Analysis:

• Conduct research, interviews, and testing with internal stakeholders to gather insights and understand their needs, pain points, and workflow requirements.
• Analyze user feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Design and Prototyping:

• Create wireframes, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Develop prototypes and mock-ups that illustrate UI elements, interactions, and navigation.
• Ensure that designs adhere to the relevant guidelines and visual identity.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system and guidelines for internal tools.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with product managers across squads to define design requirements.
• Collaborate with developers across squads to ensure the feasibility of designs and to provide clear design specifications and assets.
• Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate on designs based on input.

Testing and Validation:

• Conduct usability testing to validate design solutions and gather user feedback.
• Iterate on designs based on test results to enhance user experience and address usability issues.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Based in Copenhagen
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with a focus on internal tools or complex systems.
• Experience designing for enterprise-level applications or internal systems.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design work for web applications, highlighting your process, design thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Knowledge of agile development processes and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
• Excellent written & verbal communication and collaboration skills (in English).
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with designing financial systems is an advantage.
