The job as Senior Financial Controller
As our new Senior Financial Controller, you will become a vital member of our experienced Finance team, contributing significantly to the continued development of the Finance department.

Our Finance team consists of highly professional and dedicated finance professionals, who strive to deliver the best possible service to our global stakeholders. With the use of cutting-edge technology, we support the business best possible and ensure operational excellence on a global scale.

In the role as Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing audit processes and corporate tax matters across the group. You will also be responsible for a designated market area, becoming the go-to financial expert for the business, working closely together with Market Access, and Legal, on this specific market. You will develop a deep understanding of our operations by working closely with the business and collaborating with the Directors of Finance and the CFO. Moreover, you will be able to fully utilize and expand your financial toolbox as the role covers a diverse range of financial areas.

Your key responsibilities

• Managing the audit process and corporate tax matters for the group
• Being the go-to financial expert on a designated market area
• Key driver in developing the annual report
• Assist with relevant financial projects
• Optimizing financial processes and internal controls
• Ensure next-level financial controlling and reporting
• Participate in the monthly and yearly closing of the financials, including bookings in cooperation with our external accountants
• Close collaboration with the business on finance-related matters

Your qualifications and personal skills
We are looking for a Finance Specialist who is independent, proactive, and service-minded, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality and timely results. More specifically we imagine that you:

• Have a relevant educational background in finance or audit
• At least 5 years of experience from an audit firm or working within a finance function (preferably in a global organization)
• Have a profound understanding of IFRS and Danish Tax legislation
• Have a natural proactive service-minded work approach
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent attention to details
• Have the ability to work independently and structure your workload
• Have a winning mentality and a willingness to take on responsibility
  
• Are fluent in English, both spoken and written, as our company language is English
