Your Role at a Glance
As a Category Manager, your days will be filled with diverse and impactful activities. You will start your day with team check-ins, followed by supplier negotiations, stakeholder meetings, and preparing materials for executive presentations. Your primary goal is to ensure that our procurement activities support GlobalConnect’s strategic objectives, driving cost efficiency, innovation, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies in collaboration with business units.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tender procedures and contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Implement the GlobalConnect Supplier Relationship Management Framework to ensure high-quality deliveries and foster innovative collaborations.
- Stay abreast of market trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

To Succeed with Us, You Need:
- 5-10 years of experience in procurement and category management. Specific experience with active equipment suppliers and partnership programs is an advantage.
- Expertise in procurement best practices and supplier relationship management.
- Strong understanding of contracts and contract management.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in business English.
