The role
As an Automation Specialist, you will have an operative role that oversees all aspects of automation within our finance organisation. By designing, developing and implementing automated processes and optimizing existing automation solutions, you will contribute to streamlining our finance operations and driving efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking individual who is passionate about harnessing the power of automation to drive business success. The role is placed within Viaplay Groups Global Business Services and reports to the Head of Global Business Services.
- Development and implementation of automation solutions to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and prioritize projects based on potential impact.
- Design and deploy automation solutions using different technologies and tools (RPA, Power Automate, Power Query, AI).
- Continuously monitor and evaluate automation performance, making adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Stay informed about emerging automation trends and technologies, incorporating new advancements into the Groups automation roadmap.
- Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and documentation for automation processes.
What we are looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll need to possess at least some of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in automation.
- Technical expertise in automation tools and technologies, such as UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query, AI.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working closely with 1 RPA developer.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Solid understanding of business processes and operations, with a focus on continuous improvement.
