Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you'll find our department, Module Quality & Customization, as part of Power System Integration Module.
Our department is committed to customizing power plants to meet specific customer requirements and managing the lifecycle of legacy power plant controllers, including Hypercare support.
We maintain close interactions with the market and engage in innovative activities with external collaborators, all while prioritizing product development as our primary objective.

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

  • Collaborate with specialists to review and ensure the quality of engineering designs
  • Write detailed requirements and perform root cause analysis during the feasibility study stage

Qualifications
Your qualifications include:

  • Possess a bachelor’s or master's degree in power systems or a PhD with a focus on power systems applications
  • Expertise in power system analysis
  • Experience in renewable energy integration and grid code comprehension
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/State flow, with additional PSCAD knowledge beneficial
  • Good understanding of control systems and software development
  • Skills in testing and verifying closed-loop control applications
  • Proficient in software tools like Jira, SourceTree, and Git
  • Competence in agile software development practices, with extensive experience in software delivery, issue resolution, and documentation

Your work location will be our office in Aarhus, Denmark.
Up to 15 travel days per year.
