To support our journey, we are looking for an analytical mind to take on the role of Merchandising Specialist in our Supply Chain department.

Maximizing commercial value and optimizing product assortment
As our Merchandising Specialist, your primary task is to support the organization by ensuring an optimal activation of products in the right inventories, achieving the maximum commercial value of products, and avoiding deadstock and stockouts.

You will be involved in a range of exciting tasks and you will be responsible for:

• Optimizing product assortment and stock between stores and online.
• Creating blueprints of how to best utilize store capacity for maximum commercial value.
• Being the go-to problem solver of retail-, stock-, and assortment-related challenges.
• Activating slow-moving products by either relocation or other methods.
• Partnering with the planning team to optimize buying for upcoming seasons from a retail perspective.
• Setting up communication flows with stakeholders from retail focusing on tackling challenges and planning future improvements.
• Supporting the retail organization with analytics and reports.

To succeed in the role of Merchandising Specialist, you will contribute to the increase of revenue and sell-through in the stores, establish a flow of continuous improvements, and reduce stockouts and deadstock in the stores.

You will be working closely together with the Supply Chain team, as well as our retail organization, R&D, and Purchasing to ensure the foundation for best-in-class experiences for our guests.

About you
To expand our team and bring you on board as our new Merchandising Specialist, we see that you:

• Have approximately 0-2 years of experience with merchandising - experience from a similar field is a plus.
• Have a bachelor’s degree or preferably a master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or other relevant degrees.
• Have an analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills
• Are tech-savvy, mastering a high skill level in Excel (experience with Power BI is also a plus)
• Have a can-do attitude and proactive mindset

For this position, fluency in English is a prerequisite. The position will be located at our HQ in Aalborg.
