AAK Location
The position can be situated at any of our AAK locations, though placement in Malmo, Edison, or Singapore would be preferable. These locations have been chosen to maximize our operational efficiency and align with our strategic goals. The successful, candidate will be required to spend four days a week in the office, collaborating with team members and stakeholders with reasonable business travel to other locations required as necessary to effectively fulfil the responsibilities of the role. This travel is essential to support our international operations and enhance visibility and collaboration with leaders.

About the role
Reporting to the Global Director for People & Organizational Performance, the Global Talent Acquisition Manager is a new role responsible for the strategic design and deployment of talent acquisition within AAK. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with HR Directors and Business Partners to align talent acquisition strategies, including forecasting and planning future resource requirements, and establishing talent pipelines as part of broader talent management initiatives.

The role will drive efficient and innovative talent acquisition strategies, build robust talent pipelines, and lead the development of diverse recruitment practices. The key deliverables include improving employer branding, increasing candidate engagement, enhancing diversity, optimizing systems to drive standardization in practices and candidate experience, and reducing recruitment costs.

Responsibilities
As Global Talent Acquisition Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals to attract, retain, and develop talent.
- Talent Acquisition: Design and deploy a global talent acquisition strategy that delivers efficient and creative talent acquisition practices, strategic and robust talent pipelining, and effective workforce planning.
- Candidate Experience Management: Ensure a positive and seamless experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
- Employer Branding: Further develop a compelling employer brand and deliver branding initiatives including employee value proposition (EVP) development, social media campaigns, career website enhancement, employee advocacy programs and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- HRIS Management: Leads the design, build and deployment of new recruitment practices in the organizations recruitment system and continuously evaluate the effectiveness with business leaders, HR Directors, and Business Partners.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and support diversity in the workplace.
- HR Analytics: Utilizing recruitment data and analytics to drive informed decision-making, measure recruitment metrics, and continuously improve recruitment processes and initiatives.

You will hold a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, organizational development, business administration, or a related field and be a chartered member of a relevant professional body. Whilst time-served is not a primary determinant, you are likely to have a minimum 5-7 years functional management experience, preferably with at least 3 in an international matrixed organization. You will hold exceptional industry knowledge, specialize in talent acquisition, and hold strong thought leadership capability to lead the development of talent acquisition policies and practices in AAK.

To be successful in the role you will also need:
- Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
- Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
- Talent Acquisition: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, and relocates talent; ability to identify and select top talent with a strong alignment with the organizations culture.
- Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update. Control or enhance existing talent acquisition processes.
- Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Workforce Analytics: Knowledge of talent acquisition trends and issues; ability to analyze workforce data, information and metrics and apply the results to support business decisions.
