Global Commercial Transactional, within the Global Service Business Unit is working across the aftermarket sales (transactional) business areas of the Service business. In close cooperation with global functions and service regions across the globe we are implementing the commercial transactional strategy and day-to-day improvements supporting our sales regions fulfilling Vestas´ "Profitable Growth" strategy.
The team is responsible for gathering and sharing best practice, implementing global improvement initiatives across the value chain and sales regions, subsequently ensuring that the transactional business is operated as efficiently as possible. Transactional business performance is likewise globally tracked across financial, processes and systems ensuring that we deliver continues improvement agendas across regions and functions.
The role reports directly to Head of Global Transactional Pricing. As a Transactional Pricing Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing innovative pricing approaches tailored to both excess stock sales & long-term regular sales. You will work closely with SMEs from other functional areas such as sales, commercial, supply chain, finance to analyze market trends, value propositions and competitive landscapes & optimize pricing models to maximize revenue & profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of dynamic pricing strategies specifically tailored to excess materials sales, leveraging market insights and customer data to optimize pricing decisions
  • Design and implement agile pricing approaches that allow for rapid adaptation to changing market conditions, customer demands, and inventory levels
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and gather actionable insights to identify pricing opportunities and risks
  • Collaborate with sales teams to structure deals and provide pricing guidance for excess materials sales
  • Continuously monitor pricing performance metrics and KPIs for excess materials sales, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies
  • Leverage pricing tools and technologies to streamline pricing processes, enhance data analytics capabilities, and drive efficiency in excess materials pricing management

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' experience in pricing, business analytics or related fields
  • Familiarity with pricing software and analytics tools
  • Experience of developing and implementing dynamic pricing strategies in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in analyzing complex data to guide strategic pricing decisions
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions

  • Ability to familiarize with various system and processes across business functions
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify pricing opportunities and address challenges in a dynamic market environment
  • Good communication and presentation skills to covey complex concepts to stakeholders
  • Proven stakeholder management skill with ability to work effectively across diverse teams
  • Sharp technology aptitude, general technical knowledge, while having the curiosity in the innovation space
