Development Engineer, eFX/Web3

About the role
We are looking to hire a skilled developer to join our eFX/Web3 team in Copenhagen, reporting to the Engineering Team Lead.

In this role you will be part of building a unique cloud-based foreign exchange infrastructure. This includes automation of risk management, adapters to trading venues, trade execution, and client-facing API solutions. Furthermore, you will support our Web3 initiative, as we embark on the journey to develop a new product suite centered on issuance and blockchain transactions.

Your daily tasks will include all different stages of software development, including design, implementation, testing, integration, and production release. You will be involved in all steps of the process from idea through implementation and take ownership of the final product. You will be joining a team with an informal atmosphere – we have fun together while executing high priority projects while living up to clean code standards.

What you will be doing

• Build foreign exchange trading & Web3 components in .NET 8 (C#)
• Build and maintain integrations to other systems in the bank, including our core banking and payment systems
• Collaborate with our customers and internal stakeholders in enhancing current and building new features
• Opportunity to learn new technologies and design principles from an experienced team

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a couple of years of professional experience working with C#/.NET or other object-oriented programming languages, along with an educational background in computer science, engineering or a related field. You should have an open mind and be eager to learn new technologies and business concepts. You have experience with some of the following technologies: REST API’s, SQL, Microservices Architecture, Git and Azure DevOps. Knowledge of or interest in FX market and/or the Web3 space is a huge plus.

You have strong analytical skills and a structured way of working, and you strive to improve your skills. You are not afraid to find yourself at the deep end of the pool, and you enjoy taking part in a team where everyone has a say and challenges each other to improve our ways of working, no matter the seniority.

As a person you are proactive, responsible, quality oriented and ambitious. You have the willingness to learn and develop in areas where you might not be an expert yet. Furthermore, you are a dependable and knowledge-sharing team player that cooperates well at all levels in a global organization.

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English.
