Nordic Business Analyst

We now offer an opportunity to be part of Sæther’s Finance department in a newly created position as Nordic Business Analyst. You will be working out of our office in Farum and Report to our Nordic BI Manager.

As a Nordic Business Analyst, you will be working with different areas of the company from Supply Chain to Sales and Marketing, using internal and external data to generate different solutions in the form of reports, models, dashboards, or automatization. You will be tasked initially with reporting as well as helping with consolidation of new data to be added to our data warehouse and depending on your development choice dive into different projects to help your career path and growth, in the form of specific areas of interest and/or topics.

More specifically, you will:

• Coordinate with different areas to produce better solutions in the form of reports, analysis or processes.
• Identify automation opportunities, around all reporting solution.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to understand business performance.
• Work closely with our Finance Business Partners to help with their analytical tools and reports.

What does it take?

We imagine that you hold a relevant educational background such as a degree within Business, Engineering or Information Technology. You might have a year or two of experience as a Business Analyst, but you can also have just finished University.

Technical skills needed:

• Analytical thinking, with an outside the box approach.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Power Query, Power BI.

Beneficial but not needed if you know any:

• Data modelling and/or mathematical modelling
• VBA (program in excel)
• DAX (built measures)

To succeed in this position, you are pragmatic, structured, and capable of planning your own tasks and as you will be working with multiple cross-functional projects.

You must be fluent in English both written and spoken.
