Zenvo Automotive A/S is a producer of limited edition hypercars based in Præstø, Denmark. Founded in 2007, Zenvo was started with the aim of combining the latest technologies and innovation with an analogue feel, offering the driver a true connection and astonishing performance.
The company began with the ST1 prototype, a twin-charged introduction to the brand, and has since gone on to develop the TS1 GT grand tourer, TSR track model and the flagship TSR-S. TSR-S utilises a lightweight carbon body produced in-house, a 1,177 bhp twin supercharged flat-plane V8 and class-leading aerodynamics including Zenvo’s patented Centripetal rear wing, which reacts to steering inputs to create high levels of downforce while cornering. Production of all Zenvo models is limited to just five cars per year, all manufactured in Denmark and available to collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
Position Overview:
As a Software Engineer at Zenvo Automotive A/S, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing software solutions that power our state-of-the-art hypercars. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and integrate software modules that enhance vehicle performance, safety, and user experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects and contribute to the future of high-performance automotive engineering.
There are three open positions: Software Engineer- Powertrain, Software Engineer- Chassis, and Software Engineer – Infotainment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, system architects, and performance specialists to define software requirements and specifications for hypercars systems, including engine management, vehicle dynamics, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), powertrain development.
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software solutions using cutting-edge technologies and programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Implement real-time control algorithms, sensor fusion algorithms, and machine learning models to enhance hypercars performance, responsiveness, and safety.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of software systems through simulation, emulation, and on-road testing, ensuring adherence to performance, reliability, and safety standards.
- Analyze and optimize software performance, memory usage, and power consumption to maximize hypercars efficiency and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and industry experts to integrate third-party software components and leverage external innovations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in automotive software engineering, contributing to the continuous improvement of hypercars systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development, preferably in the automotive industry or a related domain, with a focus on embedded systems and real-time control.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and familiarity with software modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
- Strong understanding of control theory, signal processing, and data analysis techniques, with hands-on experience in developing control algorithms and sensor fusion algorithms.
- Experience with embedded software development tools and methodologies, including version control systems (e.g., Git), build systems, and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and standards (e.g., CAN, Ethernet) and experience with automotive software development platforms (e.g., AUTOSAR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
