At our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of Group Technology, counting approx. more than 250 skilled colleagues delivering the production equipment used by our factories globally. Within Group Technology, you will join our GT Cold End & Internal Logistics team of approx. 35 engineers.

Your future team
In the Cold End & Internal Logistics team we design and implement formatting and packaging equipment as well as automatic warehouses and logistic systems at the ROCKWOOL Group production facilities– which currently counts more than 30 factories worldwide. We use a combination of inhouse engineered solutions as well as turnkey supplies from machine suppliers which means we hold the competence of in-house detailed engineering as well as contract management skills. This is only made possible by having a dedicated and skilled engineering function, which you will be a part of.

What you will be doing
As project manager you execute your engineering projects in all phases, from initial scoping through, design, tendering, manufacturing and installation to commissioning and handover. At the same time ensuring that budget, scope and timeline are all according to the agreements. Even though you will have project engineers as a part of the project team a hands-on approach and fascination of technology will improve your chances of success in the role.

In addition to setting the pace and ensuring progress in the projects you are responsible for:

• Motivating your project team both at the office and on site
• Managing stakeholders such as customers, suppliers and colleagues within our organisation
• Clarifying customer requirement specifications
• Leading the preparation of tender material
• Heading the procurement process in corporation with the purchase department
• Planning site presence and activities of suppliers and own project team
  

Making sure installation and commissioning are conducted safely and that the project is handed over to customer in according to agreement and specifications

What you bring
You have a bright and analytical mind and can stay focused regardless of potential obstacles that may occur. And as a person, you are a highly driven individual that can take charge and ensure commitment to the plans and the solutions you propose.

Moreover, you:

• Have a technical background and a degree in for instance mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
• Have vast experience in planning and executing engineering projects.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Are interested in technology and the machine systems we deliver.
• Understand how to respond to the needs of your customers.
• Know how to keep your focus and stick to the scope but cooperative.
• Can oversee travel of 50 – 70 days per year. Longer travels can be 2 -3 weeks but often shorter.
• Are fluent in professional English
