As part of exciting projects, we are expanding the Site Management team at ABB and are currently seeking an experienced construction manager with expertise in the construction and industry sector, business, and leadership.
General information: As a construction manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects at construction sites. You will play a central role in various project phases, including installation, testing, and completion. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are met at the construction site. You will closely collaborate with colleagues, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
We aim to strengthen our team in the Oslo region and prefer candidates with local or geographical ties to Oslo.

Qualifications for the role

• Relevant education (Bachelor’s, Master’s, vocational training, or technical college).
• Experience in larger industrial projects with well-documented results.
• Good understanding of the construction and industry sector – knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines is advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both Norwegian and English (written and spoken).
• Results-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
• Commercial acumen with a focus on progress and financial aspects.
• Structured work methodology with passion for what you do.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide others.
• If you have security clearance or have been previously cleared, it would be beneficial.
