IT Business Partner - Application Management
We are looking for a dedicated IT Business Partner to join our Application Management team in Group IT. This role is essential in providing strategic application management and business support to users in TORM’s offices globally. The successful candidate will manage business requirements, liaise with technical teams and vendors, be responsible for resolution of application issues, and drive change management activities.

Responsibilities
Application Management:
- Stay abreast of the latest releases by vendors and facilitate strategic discussions with business owners and super users.
- Collaborate closely with business units to analyze, describe, and prioritize requirements.
- Drive and coordinate change management for improved or new functionality, including design, development, testing, and rollout.
- Provide 2nd level support, maintenance, and development on business applications within approved strategies, standards, and budgets.
- Liaise with vendors on inquiries and deliveries to the business.
- Project management of smaller projects and participation in larger projects.
- Work on process optimization and systems documentation.
- Act as a backup for colleagues within the application management team.
- Participate in general activities within the Application Management team.
- Perform controls of business applications as applicable.
Business Partnering:
- Act as a business partner to specific functions in TORM, ensuring a close dialogue with the management team in the function and business system owners.
- Understand business requirements for IT services and work proactively to align requirements with benefits, risks, budgets, and overall priorities.
Qualifications
Professional Education and Experience:
- Relevant higher education within IT or business administration.
- Practical work experience of at least 5 years within Application Management, Business Analysis, Technical Support, or Project Coordination.
- Strong technical understanding of IT applications and technology.
- Excellent communication skills in professional English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical and security-related issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with ITIL-based processes and change management procedures.
Personal Skills:
- Proactive, structured, and analytical working approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Curious and interested in new technologies.
