The Production Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of +40 blue collar operators, motivate and develop their skills to meet increasing demand.

The production is manual assembly of electronic medical devices. The employees are grouped in 4 sub teams all performing assembly, testing, packing, and handling of components at inventory.

The Production team leader will report to Senior manager and have daily cooperation with the planner team and technical support team associated with the production.

The candidate we are looking for thrives in a dynamic working environment striving for defined objectives related to safety, quality, on time delivery, capacity, and engagement by using Lean.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Interact with all operators daily on the floor and at board meetings, to ensure product quality and production output.
• Improve and maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
• Improve and maintain production standard work to meet the high growth, by focusing on flow and lead time in production.
• Coaching and training of operators.
• Execute management of production activities in close collaboration with technical support team, planner team and Senior Manager.
• With your approachable behavior and listening nature, manage the balance between making demands and setting expectations for your employees.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 3+ years of experience from a Production Environment.
• Management experience.
• Excellent communication skills and team management through times of change.
• Experience working with a team of production operators.
• Production planning experience.
• Motivation to work in a LEAN culture.
• Fluent in Danish and English.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Bachelors in mechanical or production engineering.
• Experience within pharma or medico production.
• Stakeholder management (e.g. Unions, Production support functions).
