Join a new established team dedicated to customer and market intelligence
We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Insights Manager to join our newly established and growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven commercial strategy across the organization and supporting the growth journey ahead!

In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Commercial Strategy & Insights and Marketing, who in turn reports to the EVP of our global commercial organization.

Your responsibilities will cover:

  • Partner with the commercial leadership teams to translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies.
  • Play a key role in shaping Terma's growth strategies, designing frameworks, and partnering with regions and business areas for successful execution.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a business area insights model to track performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Foster a data-driven culture by providing insightful quarterly communications on market trends, competitor analysis, and key performance indicators.
  • Conduct deep dives into market dynamics and competitor landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
  • Build comprehensive fact packs on target markets and key competitors.
  • Develop and maintain impactful dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI for clear communication of insights.
  • Develop and maintain financial and business case models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives in analytical capabilities and business KPIs, including determining how to gather relevant data, how to collect and break down data, and how to present meaningful analysis to stakeholders across the organization.

Additionally, you will participate in the commercial aspects of new product development and innovation, ensuring alignment with market needs and strategic objectives.

How to succeed in this position?
As a professional, you have a proven track record of developing and implementing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. You have a minimum 4 years of experience in a commercial insights, strategy, or business analysis role, with a focus on complex B2B markets

Additionally, you bring the following:

  • Experience in the defense or security industry is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
  • A master's degree in Strategy, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Experience in driving projects and initiatives across multiple regions or business units.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data manipulation and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI is a plus.

You have a strong understanding of market research principles and competitor analysis techniques.
