Project Services Leader

We are looking for a highly skilled Project Director for our Project Services Team. The role will be supporting our large +2bUSD expansion project (Project Milky Way) and will be member of the Senior Leadership Team of the project.
You will be leading the Milky Way Project Services team which consists of 25 skilled employees with mainly contractors. You will refer to the Project Executive of the Milky Way Project. You will oversee and manage all Project Services disciplines such as Scheduling, Risk, Cost, Procurement and Contracting within our Capex function on the Hillerød site in Denmark.
The Project Services Team is responsible for:
- Project Controls execution support: implement/execute the cost and schedule management program for the project. Support area infrastructure planning efforts at various stages, facilitate development of cost estimates and budgets, and establish reasonable cost and schedule baselines.
- Change Management / Forecasting: Implement change management practices and appropriately capture associated cost and schedule activities.
- Reporting: Develop dashboards to communicate cost and schedule performance to teams in real time. Implement a standardized suite of cost and schedule reports that enable senior management to make data driven decisions.
- Tender development, management, and reward for external service/equipment providers – inclusive of the primary EPC contract.
- Analysis and Tracking: Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project cost and schedule performance to identify potential risk areas, validate forecasts, and communicate those quickly to key stakeholders.
- Funding Request: Coordinate Project Services team's contributions to development of project funding request
- Responsible for the Project Services/Governance reporting/structure, cross-functional alignment with all involved parties i.e. general contractors, subcontractors, and support and input to EPC contract administration
- Liaison with and support to FDB strategy and initiatives.
- Continuous improvement of Project Services systems and procedures.
- Ad hoc support to the Hillerød Milky Way expansion project Leadership Team
Qualifications
- MSc. In Engineering, Business Administration, Life Science or similar educational background.
- Extensive CAPEX experience
- A proven track record of leading high performing teams
- +10 years within Project Controls and Project Services
- +5 years of Leadership experience
- Experience with Large Scale projects within life science is an advantage
