You will be part of our Global Sales and Service team and will be responsible to drive, support, and develop Alfa Laval’s membrane business in collaboration with business and sales managers. You will be involved in complex sales projects in industries including but not limited to protein, food & beverage, sugar, industrial fermentation, and dairy.
You will work with established customers and processes as well as be a central part in development of new. You will be working with a customer centric mindset along with our Sales Companies, Engineering & Supply department and central sales team securing an outstanding customer experience. You have a passion for membrane filtration and process engineering, and you are a team player. You and your colleagues take the full responsibility for driving the business, from screening to execution. Your tasks will evolve around but are not limited to:
- Application ownership and development.
- Sign off on process design in bid phase and execution.
- Deliver process and CIP descriptions.
- Customer meetings as application and process expert.
- Process commissioning of systems, on site or remotely.
- Complex process trouble shooting and optimizations, on site or remotely.
The position is based in Copenhagen and/or Nakskov, Denmark. At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. We expect travel commitment of approximately 50 – 60 days per year.
What you know
We are looking for someone with a strong background in Chemical Engineering and/or Process Engineering, with specific knowledge of applications within the food industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Expertise in membranes is essential, and a foundational understanding of automation would be highly advantageous.
