Trading & Risk ETRM Business Consultant - Strategy & Consulting

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced consultant to join our team as an IT Business liaison and process facilitator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between IT development and business operations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Join our team and be part of an exciting journey with several energy trading clients in the Nordic transforming their trading business and IT landscape, driving innovation and delivering value to our business and customers.

How do you know this could be the role for you?

• Lead and conduct functional and trading system analysis to define new target operating models and architectures.
• Defining, planning, and executing end-to-end Commodity Trading & Risk Management solutions, including transaction capture, risk management, logistics, and accounting.
• Perform Functional analysis work in support of ETRM/CTRM implementations.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and provide timely updates to stakeholders on project status.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement in processes and systems.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to process improvement.
• Between 2-6 years’ experience within short term power trading from industry or consultancy.
• Understanding of energy management (functional and from system landscape perspective) and energy trading processes
• Commodities experience
• Risk management experience
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language is preferred.

The working place is Copenhagen or Aarhus, but some travel should be expected.
