Precis is seeking a dynamic IT Manager to oversee and manage all central IT functions within our organization. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to ensure the seamless operation, support, and development of our IT infrastructure while driving larger-scale projects and integrations forward.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of our IT operations, with a focus on strategic project execution.
  • Manage the software lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, configuration, and maintenance (incl. Ongoing performance and security).
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless system integration and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Implement and administer directory services (e.g., Microsoft Entra, Google Workspace) for user authentication and authorization.
  • Lead and mentor IT colleagues, providing guidance and support in day-to-day operations and professional development.
  • Proactively drive optimization efforts across the IT infrastructure, leveraging your technical expertise to streamline processes and enhance functionality.
  • Support and maintain hardware and network infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our IT capabilities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experiencein a software administration or IT managing role.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure and software administration, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proven experience with directory services (e.g., Microsoft Entra, Google Workspace) and processes like SAML and SSO.
  • Experience working with APIs (e.g., REST API) for integration and optimization to design, integrate, and deploy efficient solutions.
  • Experience with Python and SQL is highly valued.
  • Leadership skills within IT area, with the ability to inspire and mentor team members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to translate complex technical information
  • Basic understanding of hardware components and network connectivity.
