About the role
We are looking for electrical engineer to join our Electrical & Instrumentation department in Kalundborg where you will join a team of 15 dedicated engineers with a passion for developing future technologies in the pharma industry. As a team, we are specialized in electrical engineering, specifications, tender preparations, supervision and test of process equipment and components. In this position you will bring your solid knowledge about electrical instrumentation for production process verification into play every day and you will have key role in developing new solutions for pharmaceutical facilities.

How you might spend your days
As our new Engineer for PAT, you’ll take part of a motivated cross-functional team, working with:

  • Assisting in designing and developing of PAT solutions for our current & up-coming projects.
  • Working with vendor and client representatives in carrying out the validation activities.
  • Design, development and acquisition of various PAT instrumentation solutions to meet i.e., Functional Safety, SIS and ATEX requirements.
  • Commissioning, testing, qualification and validation of PAT instrumentation solutions.
  • Perform receiving inspections on the equipment packages.
  • Active participation in project teams and sharing new ideas.

In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

  • Engineer, technician, or similar degree with good experience preferably within the pharma- or biotech industry.
  • Experience within designing and building industrial automation solutions for the pharmaceutical/ Food/ Oil & gas or equivalent industry.
  • Proficiency in PAT systems, like NIR, LC, RAMAN, GC etc., and their integrations.
  • Practical experience in carrying out SAT, IQ, OQ & other commissioning activities of different analytical instruments according to relevant standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and document technical requirements effectively.

Added expertise in the following areas would be an advantage:

  • Experience with PAT management systems, such as synTQ, and the ability to build orchestrations and manage data flows.
  • Experience with preparation & review of engineering design documentation.
  • Proven track record of successful PAT implementation in a manufacturing environment.
