Software Tools Engineer

To further expand and strengthen our tools capabilities in Product Engineering we are looking for a new tool engineer

Welcome to our Product Engineering team.

You will cooperate with our current tools engineer, in developing and maintaining current and future tools. Your stakeholder network will be wide, crossing many functions and different departments at BEUMER, therefor it's crucial that you thrive in being a team player, that is good at understanding complex systems structures and is able to take those into perspective when developing solutions. You will join app. 60 creative and highly skilled colleagues in Airport Engineering, while being a part of the Product Engineering team, where you will report to the Product Engineering Manager.

Software tools at BEUMER
The tools can be for storing, maintaining, and calculating data, but also tools for simple importing and exporting into different applications as well as using APIs to develop more complex interaction.

Your tasks include:

• Identification and development of possible software-based tools together with the colleagues
• Execution of projects in close cooperation with different stakeholders across the organization including automation, software, data and electrical engineers as well as product management
• Specification and design
• Implementation, test and documentation
• Maintenance, enhancement, and user support.

A structured and independent person, with a software-based background:

• You have software-based background with a degree in Data Engineering, Software Engineer or other software-based education
• You have experience in working in:
  • C#
  • Microsoft Visual Studios
  • GitLab
• You have a proactive outlook and enjoy new challenges that are centred around software tools development
• You find it natural to work in a structured way
• You are fluent in both written and spoken English and preferably the same in Danish.

As a person, you are independent with a well-developed ability to prioritize and plan so that you reach your goals on time – even though everyday life characterized by many tasks at the same time. In addition, you are a team player who appreciates trust, humor, and an informal tone.
