The job
We are looking for a Lead PAM Architect that overall has a proven experience as a PAM Architect in large complex environments. As our new colleague, you will utilize your knowledge to take a leading role in driving our Privileged Access Management program. The digitalization journey is strategically important for Novo Nordisk. With it, we will adopt a modern security approach which will enable significant business value. It will support our changing business and IT environment with increased levels of partnerships and external collaboration, more hybrid ways of working, growing IT landscape of applications and devices, and general movement towards more cloud and larger data sets. You will become a member of the newly established Global Identity & Access Management function, with which you will enable the transformation by collaborating with Managers, Product Owners, Project Managers, other architects from the organisation to define and succeed with PAM related initiatives.

Part of your responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the PAM initiative within a large transformation program which we call IT Scalability
  • Working with cross-functional stakeholders to identify needs, use cases and planning the road-map for PAM - investigating current status, identifying needs and gaps, planning to mitigate
  • Taking a leading and coordinating role to drive the technical design, implementation, and optimization of Privileged Access Management environment, overseeing the technical activities delivered by internal and external team members.
  • Provide strategic guidance on identity and access management initiatives
  • Contribute to evolving processes and procedures for PAM, including the policy framework of relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies

The job is located in Ballerup, Denmark with travel activity of max 30 days per year.

Candidate profile
Senior PAM expert with a proven track record of driving PAM implementations in complex organizations, preferred in pharmaceutical or other regulated environments. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Excellent knowledge of challenges and pitfalls in large-scale PAM deployments for cloud and data center, including required transformational activities, change management to drive the cultural shift. Strong technical expertise in PAM technologies, including privileged account and session management, session recording, credential vaulting, and application-to-application communication.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional results.

We expect you to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in running large scale PAM deployments
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Hands-on expertise with leading PAM tools and integration with other security components (e.g. IGA, SIEM).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) preferred

As a person you are a team player and can communicate complex technological solutions and concepts to a broader audience. You have a can-do mindset, positive by nature, pragmatic and with a heart beating for IAM and hopefully some humor.

Global Identity & Access Management is a newly established function reporting to the CISO, based in DD&IT in Denmark. The function is responsible for ensuring that IAM initiatives are aligned, run, and developed according to the strategic direction for IAM in Novo Nordisk. You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located in Denmark, USA, and India. Our team consists of leading experts in various areas ranging across network security, white hat hacking, cloud security, cryptography, security operations, manufacturing security, security risk management and governance.
