job description
On behalf of Norlys, we are seeking a dedicated System Administrator who will work with the latest technologies.
As part of Norlys´ IT Shared Service Center, you will engage in a varied and challenging day-to-day role within an informal and dynamic environment. Alongside in a team with a high level of technical competence. You will be responsible for implementing, operating, and developing their Linux-based systems and technologies.

You will be part of an environment where freedom with responsibility will be high on the agenda, with a great degree of flexibility regarding working from home. You will join a team that achieves successes through their solutions and services.

One of your primary roles as a System Administrator will be to assess all the requirements and design appropriate solutions using existing or new Linux tools. This involves understanding the goals, technical requirements, budget constraints, and recommending the most suitable solution that aligns with those requirements.

Your tasks will be a combination of operational duties, development, and projects, where you will have significant influence on how tasks are best solved.

key responsibilities:
- Operating and developing their Linux-based systems and technologies
- Implementing new features and improvements on their Linux platforms
- Developing the future IT platform to support the Norlys group's IT needs
- Collaborating with other departments regarding the operation and maintenance of systems

Your main workplace will be in Aarhus.

are you norlys' new system administrator?
It is crucial that you have a deep understanding of the Linux environment and can develop, deploy and manage Linux solutions. You need to have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues related to their enterprise environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, are essential.
As a person, you have a proactive and energetic attitude as well as strong interpersonal, administrative, and analytical skills. You should be able to handle complex tasks, enjoy taking responsibility, and thrive with increasing levels of independence. Being service minded, trustworthy, and helpful are also important attributes.

We hope you have:
-A relevant degree within the field of IT
-Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining Linux solutions, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
-Deep knowledge of Linux on an enterprise level
-Experience with both enterprise and open source solutions
-Experience in building and designing IT-solutions of varying complexity
-Experience in building and operating 24/7 environments with high availability
-Proficiency in scripting: Powershell, Perl, Python, Go and Ansible
-Experience with automation

However, the most important attribute is your attitude and dedication to the job.
