JAI is a leading global manufacturer of high-quality industrial cameras for various markets, including machine vision, transportation, food and beverage industry, aerospace, medical and scientific sectors.

On behalf of JAI A/S, Moment is looking for an experienced Global Product Manager to join a dynamic team at the JAI HQ in Valby, Copenhagen.

Do you excel in aligning stakeholders across diverse cultural and organizational backgrounds?

As a Global Product Manager, you’ll be a part of the Global Product Management Team, consisting of 5 employees located in Japan, Germany and Denmark. You’ll refer to the Director of Product Management who’s located in Germany, but only a phone call away.

In this role, you’ll have a crucial impact and drive your own product line throughout its entire lifecycle, from concept development to market launch. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to strategy and development to launch and post-launch review and improvements

• Ensure that the product line is successful globally

• Develop and execute product strategy

• Foster strong relationship with internal teams, including marketing, sales, R&D and operations to ensure cohesive product development and go-to-market strategies

• Engage with external stakeholders such as customers, partners and suppliers

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of product plans, specifications and updates

• Develop and refine product management processes to enhance efficiency and collaboration

Becoming an employee at JAI, you’ll be a part of a small international workplace with sales, production and development departments in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, USA, the Netherlands and Germany. The company employs nearly 150 employees globally, with 20 based in Valby.

Therefore, you will have a versatile role with extensive interaction characterized by diversity of thought and culture, both internally and externally. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to follow your products through to completion, which also involves some travel activity.

Your qualifications

We expect that you hold a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or in a related field, combined with demonstrated experience in product management within the metrology, machine vision, sensor, laser or automation markets. You have a strong technical understanding of high-tech electronics and optics along with an analytical mindset capable of interpreting data and performing analyses that support decision making and strategic planning.
