We are currently seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to spearhead our network expansion.
This is part of a dynamic journey, marked by the expansion of our retail store network and the rollout of our latest store design concept, Evoke. You will play a key role in optimizing our retail store network, offering data analyses and reporting for store openings, closures, lease renewals, and rebuilds. Additionally, you will contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes, oversee the investment proposals framework, prepare monthly reports on the impact of network expansion, and support other management reporting activities. This role can be seen as a hybrid between business and finance, involving tasks and exposure in both commercial and financial areas, thus offering excellent career growth opportunities across multiple functions.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

Data Oversight and Validation

  • Network Development Tracking: Support the forecasting process and assess the impact of our store network development.
  • Data Collection, Control, and Validation: Gather, verify, and ensure rigorous validation and control of information related to store expansion and rebuild plans.
  • Data Management: Conduct data cleansing and adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy and reliability of information stored in our systems.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues worldwide, across various functions (including Finance, Real Estate, Construction, etc.), and levels of seniority.
  • Best Practices and Optimization: Drive best practices across the globe and strive to optimize global business partnering with local teams.

Decision-Making and Analysis

  • Improving Decision-Making Quality: Utilize insights gained from analysis to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Business Analysis, Reporting, and Insights: Develop and deliver comprehensive business analyses, generate reports, and conduct timely ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Sales Data Analysis: Analyse store sales data to identify trends and patterns, and compare performance against similar stores or initial business projections.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Business Analyst will oversee our investment approval process, and more specifically:

  • Approval Framework: Implement and manage a structured approval process for business cases, including store openings and closings, lease renewals, and store rebuilds.
  • Documentation Management: Manage documentation and information for store investments, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Central Contact Point: Act as the central point of contact for investment approvals, facilitating discussions, and communicating decisions to stakeholders.
  • Tool and Process Enhancement: Develop and refine internal tools and processes to maintain high standards.

Detail-oriented approach with strong data literacy
In order to succeed in this role, you need to have a flair for details and a structured working style. You enjoy collaborating with diverse teams, but you also are able to work independently and take ownership over your tasks. You have an analytical mindset, and you show commitment towards data accuracy and precision. Additionally, we hope that you can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in finance, data analysis, or reporting
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data & Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in the commercial aspects of the business
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; particularly Excel, to build models, queries, and reports for strategic decision-making
  • Analytical abilities with a capacity to develop clear dashboards, reports, and visualizations
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to design and implement processes
  • Proficiency in Power BI would be a great plus
  • Exposure to retail, fashion, or FMCG industries would be an advantage

The role is based in Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
