Job Description & Summary

Are you passionate about helping companies navigate the rapidly changing risk landscape and ensure valid financial and ESG reporting?

Are you ready to join us in helping our clients navigate the rapidly changing risk landscape nationally and globally? Do you want to advise companies on how to ensure reliable and timely financial and ESG reporting, from the collection of quality data, through processes, risks and controls, to appropriate governance setups and reporting structures?

Then this is your chance to join the GRC & IA (Governance, Risk and Compliance & Internal Audit) team in Risk Assurance, Copenhagen. We help a wide range of companies, from the largest to the mid-market, financial institutions and public sector entities to optimise and redefine their reporting processes and internal control environment - all with an underlying theme of technology enablement.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Driving client engagements from commencement to completion, including coordinating cross-functional teams with subject matter experts across PwC
  • Developing relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting the development of sales and marketing materials, including proposals and thought leadership
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior team members

When it comes to client engagements, you should be prepared to:

  • Map data and processes and document business procedures in SOPs, reporting manuals, etc.
  • Identify and analyse business, ESG and financial risks
  • Design and implement internal control frameworks in accordance with recognised frameworks such as COSO
  • Test and report on the effectiveness of internal control environments
  • Potentially work with other areas, as we also support our clients with various other tasks

About your future team:

You will be part of a diverse and versatile team, where a combination of humour, an informal tone and a high level of professionalism form the basis of our department’s culture. You will be challenged in your day-to-day work while also being a part of an ambitious working environment, with talented colleagues with whom you can always spar with.

You will become a part of Risk Assurance, where we have a tailored academy for our consultants to ensure your continued professional and personal development alongside client work. We promise to give you a fun, challenging and steep learning curve.

Does the following description sound like you:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as finance, business administration, economics, compliance, governance, etc.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in consulting, financial reporting, controlling, compliance or something similar
  • As an individual, you are curious, proactive, detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work with clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to multiple projects simultaneously while managing your time effectively
  • Passionate about making a difference for your clients

It is important to us that we offer the best conditions in terms of development and
flexibility. When you join PwC, you will be assigned a career coach who will work closely with you on your development. Together we will ensure that you are assigned to projects and engagements that develop your competencies and that your skills are applied in the best way possible.

We will be interviewing candidates on an ongoing basis, so please don’t hesitate to submit your application.

If you have any questions about the position, please contact Director, Tori Meadows ([email protected], +45 4099 7741) or Partner, Jeanne Koch Rasmussen ([email protected], +45 5386 3678).
