This role reports to Head of Asia Logistics, based in Singapore and supports in developing and executing a comprehensive logistics strategy across Asia and Middle east.
Responsibilities include the following;
Logistics
- End-to-end Supply Chain Management: supply/ demand forecast planning, distribution & logistics, inventory management, quality control & compliance.
- Close collaboration with 3pl logistics service provider, ensure smooth operational physical flows, from warehouse to franchise partners.
- Support in identifying right regional strategic logistics service provider.
Project management
- New markets entry projects: Support franchise partners in logistics onboarding program.
- Ensures import or export of products, complies with the regulations within a region, evaluates individual market’s compliance status with various regulatory bodies.
- Cross-functional collaboration - Collaborate closely with multiple internal stakeholders, including Supply Chain Operations team, 3pl, monitor supply chain performance, reporting.
What do we expect?
- Proven track record of at least 3 years of experience in supply chain management.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in International Business or Supply Chain management.
- At least 3yrs worth of compliance, trade customs experience within Asia and Middle East
- Highly knowledgeable of import and export regulations across the region, including Import Licensing, Export Licensing, Free Trade Agreements, Country of Origin, Valuation, Authorized Economic Operator.
- Proven track record in managing complex logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of international trading operations.
- Strong communication skills across all levels, willingness to work matrix organization.
- Proficiency in Mandarin skills preferred.
- Agile, resilient and flexible work ethos/mind-set of working in a start up set up.
- Ability for business travel when required.
- Strong business acumen, excellent data analytics skills.
- Ability to engage, motivate and mobilize teams on different locations; both virtual and face-to-face
- Great organizational skills and ability to perform and adapt to a high demand, time-sensitive, fast-paced changing environment
