Becoming part of the Global Integrator of container logistics - connecting and simplifying our customers' supply chains.

You will join the Ocean Product Finance team, where you will be exposed to the strategy, technology and innovation of our core ocean product. You will play a key role in providing insights for the future direction of our company and partnering the business in delivering our strategic goals.

You will interact with stakeholders within and outside Finance, and the experience gained in this position will open ways for further career progression across the company.

Key Responsibilities

You will drive performance management and support business decision making within Ocean functions. Your key counterparts will be from the Network Strategy and Platforms team, whose vision is to to build superior transportation outcomes that address customers core needs around reliability and flexibility.

You will drive deliverables and processes that include value-add analysis, management reporting, deep dive analysis, performance management and financial forecasts.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and driving relevant financial and technology performance review processes, incl. annual Operational Planning cycle and monthly performance review cycle
  • Support stakeholders in defining process quality, cost and efficiency goals and establishing a link to the Technology roadmap
  • Providing financial input and guidance to relevant business cases and enabling data-driven decision making
  • Providing recommendations and driving results together with the business stakeholders
  • Being accountable for timely, high quality and fit-for-purpose reporting and analysis to key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance to accounting principles and risk and control framework for the products in scope.
  • Ensuring close collaboration with other parts of the Finance organization

Key competencies are:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration combined with 3+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning and Analysis, Investment Finance, Accounting, or Strategy.

The ideal candidate for the role will have a passion to drive results together with colleagues, strong academic records and with a proven track record of driving business results

  • Conveying insights extracted from data into concise, commonly understood business language for effective decision-making.

  • Understanding of financial modeling and investment analysis.
  • Ability to multitask and manage their time proactively across multiple priorities
  • Proficient English language skills
  • Skillful Microsoft office package users incl. Microsoft Power BI
